My laptop was doing all sorts of strange things. I knew that if I went to a computer store, they would only want to sell me a new one. The friendly FIX I.T. people told me that my hard drive was on its last legs and helped me buy a new, faster, solid-state one online for £25. I returned to FIX I.T. when it arrived and they fitted it and transferred everything for me. These people are saints.

I got into a pickle with my passwords and couldn't get into my computer. When I took it to FIX I.T., they patiently helped me reset the passwords one by one. I wouldn't have had the will-power to do it without them. I've now written them down (and what they are for) so that I won't get into that mess again.

I hadn't checked my email for ages and couldn't even remember the address. At FIX I.T., not only did they retrieved my email, they configured my tablet and phone so that I have other ways of getting my email from now on.

My smartphone wasn't charging properly and the battery was going flat everyday. When I brought it to FIX I.T., they tested it and showed me that the battery could easily be replaced. They helped me order the right battery (which was only £7) and I was even able to fit it myself when it arrived.

I wanted to learn a few tricks about word-processing to help me produce a better newsletter. I knew that the things I wanted to do were possible but I had no idea who would have the patience to show me. So I went to FIX I.T. and they were brilliant. I had a dedicated tutor for 2 hours who didn't just explain exactly what I wanted to know, he made me do it myself so I wouldn't forget.

My laptop had become so slow that I was on the verge of throwing it out of the window. Thankfully, I took it to FIX I.T. first. They cleaned it up to such an extent that it now works better than the day I bought it. They removed lots of advert-generating software so I no longer have to put up with the endless banners and pop-ups that I had become accustomed to.
